PARKERSBURG - Today the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley will hold a Business Expo at the E.L.I.T.E. Sports Center from 4-8 p.m, with a chamber-member-only Business After Hours from 4-6 p.m.
Seventy-two area businesses and organizations have booths at the annual event, which is an opportunity for the business community to promote its products, services and facilities.
The News and Sentinel will sponsor the Business After Hours, which is open to chamber members only, from 4-6 p.m. with hors d'oevres and beverages.
From 6-8 p.m. the Expo is open to the public at $3 a person for non-Chamber members.
Many of the booths will have specials, ranging from percentage off services to special incentives. There also will be door prizes given out throughout the evening, such as a smartphone, beauty basket, Kindle Reader, tanning certificates and a vacuum cleaner worth $2,650.
There also will be more than 60 raffle items worth at least $25 each being given away.
