Jerry and Barbara Bowles of Parkersburg will celebrate their 60th anniversary Feb. 2.
They were married Feb. 2, 1952, at Stephenson Memorial Church Parsonage by the Rev. E. R. Ball.
She is the daughter of the late Alonzo and Pearl Davis of Parkersburg. She is retired from Montgomery Wards.

He is the son of the late Brook and Beulah Bowles of Parkersburg. He is retired from the Chevron Corporation in Marietta.
They have four children, Debra (Randy) Kinsolving of Vienna, David (Melanie) Bowles of Parkersburg, Diana (Randy) Riffle of Parkersburg, and the late Steven and Sharon Bowles. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
An open reception will be given by their children and grandchildren from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 5 at St. John United Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall, 3911 Grand Central Ave., Vienna. Cards would be appreciated, but gifts are to be omitted.
