Rachel Erin Woolwine and Kenton Everett Bandy were united in marriage on July 9 at First Lutheran Church in Parkersburg. The Rev. Erik Nielsen and the Rev. Jim Mike Ward officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Lisa Woolwine of Williamstown. She is the granddaughter of the late Everett Taylor and Lou Taylor of Ravenswood and Dale and Teddy Woolwine of Berlin, Md. She is a 2005 graduate of Williamstown High School and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with bachelor's degrees in chemistry and secondary education. She is employed by Hancock County Schools as a science teacher.
The groom is the son of Craig and Candice Bandy of Williamstown. He is the grandson of Arlene Munson of Parkersburg, Helen Bandy of Monroeville, Pa., and Carl Bandy of Trafford, Pa. He is the great-grandson of Helen Estep of Williamstown. He is a 2005 graduate of Williamstown High School, a 2009 graduate of Alderson Broaddus College with a bachelor's degree in applied music and a 2011 graduate of Duquesne University with a master's degree in trumpet performance. He is seeking an artist diploma at Duquesne University and pursuing a performance career.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and an asymmetrical tulle pick-up. Her bouquet included white and green roses, green hydrangea, white gerbera daisies and assorted greenery.
Amy Powell, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Burdick, Alice Foley, Jaclyn Randolph, Jessica Springman and Carissa Western, friends of the bride. They wore black knee-length dresses and carried bouquets of white and green roses, gerbera daisies and assorted greenery.
Amelia Bandy, the groom's niece, and Elizabeth Burch, the bride's cousin, served as flower girls.
Raphael Burch IV, the bride's cousin, served as the ring bearer.
Jason Burnside, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Bandy and Kyler Bandy, brothers of the groom, and Brian Farr, Zachary Offenberger and Jeremiah Wood, friends of the groom. Taylor Woolwine, brother of the bride, and Jack Madden and Brett Wiley, friends of the bride and groom, served as ushers.
Prelude music was provided by a brass quintet that included the groom, Jason Burnside and Shawn Wilson, trumpet; Jeremiah Wood, horn; Phillip West, trombone; and Alex Clegg, tuba. Shawn Wilson, trumpet soloist, and David Alfred, organist, provided the processional music. During the lighting of the unity candle, Christopher and Mollie Bandy, brother and sister-in-law of the groom, sang "The Lord's Prayer." The ceremony ended with an organ arrangement of the "Hallelujah Chorus."
A reception and dinner were held at the Nemesis Shrine Club in Parkersburg. The Smoot Theatre House Band of Parkersburg provided musical entertainment, and the groom was a featured trumpet soloist in the performance of "My Funny Valentine." The wedding cake and cupcakes were baked and decorated by the bride and her mother.
Following a honeymoon to Mackinac Island, Mich., the couple resides in Weirton.
