Elizabeth Eckman Mylott and Grant Michael Morehead, both of Portland, Ore., were married Sept. 3 in Portland. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Yehudah Winter. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Jim Mylott and Marilyn Pasquarelli of Vienna, and the late DiAnne Mylott of Vienna.
She is the granddaughter of the late Lois Cook of Parkersburg and the late Frances Mylott of New Haven, Conn.

The groom is the son of Dr. Michael and Linda Morehead of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Carl Morehead of Parkersburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Minor of Parkersburg.
Grace Weatherford of Portland, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Adelyn File of Parkersburg, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
Dan Rector of Seattle, friend of the groom, served as best man.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Parkersburg High School.
She is a 2001 graduate of Marlboro College with a bachelor's degree in American studies, a 2006 graduate of State University of New York with a master's degree in urban and regional planning and a master's degree in geography and is set to graduate in December from Portland State University with a doctorate in urban studies. She is employed by the Institute of Portland Metropolitan Studies.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Parkersburg High School, a 2000 graduate of Haverford College with a bachelor's degree in biology and a 2006 graduate of Portland State University with a master's degree in urban and regional planning. He is employed by the city of Portland in policy and infrastructure development.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple reside in Portland.
