Lawrence and Barbara Lemon of Parkersburg celebrated their 60th anniversary with a dinner party at the Stratford Room in the Blennerhassett Hotel, held by their family.
They were married Dec. 12, 1951, at the home of the bride's parents by the Rev. John D. Cumberledge.
Mrs. Lemon is the daughter of the late Harry E. and Delphia Kuhl Russell. She retired from the Wood County Board of Education Computer Center in 1989. Mr. Lemon is the son of the late John. R. and Kathleen Powell Lemon. He retired from E. I. DuPont in 1988.

They have three children, Nancy (Mike) Rust of Louisville, Ky., Jill (Terry) Bartley of Mineral Wells and Jason R. (Mia) Lemon of New Albany, Ind.
They have eight grandchildren, Kelli Rust Wicking of Louisville, Josh (Amy) Rust of Louisville, Chad (Regan) Bartley of Mineral Wells, Tyler (Shannell) Bartley of Mineral Wells, and Jessica, Elise, Jacob and Joseph Lemon, all of New Albany.
They have six great-grandchildren, Tysen Kennedy and Jude Wicking of Louisville, Paige Cline, Eli and Wyatt Bartley of Mineral Wells, and Cora Rust of Louisville.
