Bill and Betty Spiker of Vienna celebrated their 65th anniversary on Dec. 24 with a celebration held by their children at their residence.
They were married Dec. 24, 1946, in Petroleum, W.Va. The Rev. Thomas Spiker, father of the groom, officiated the ceremony.
Mrs. Spiker was associated with G.C. Murphy Company for a number of years and retired from Walker Parkersburg in 1992 after 20 years of service.

Mr. Spiker retired from Matheny Motor Truck Co. in 1997 after 50 years of service.
They are the parents of four children, Donald of Lubeck, Richard of Marietta, Carla Holland of Belpre and Tina Shaffer of Round Rock, Texas.
They have 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
