Norman and Laurie Cowart from Parkersburg celebrated their 35th anniversary. They were married on Dec. 19, 1976, at the First United Methodist Church in Orange, Texas. The late Rev. Walter Klingle officiated.
She is the daughter of Ellie Dahl and the late Ray Dahl. He is the son of Robert Cowart and the late Joy Cowart. They are both retired.
They have three children, Ally Cowart of Baltimore, Md.; Ben Cowart of Parkersburg; and Emi Cowart of Parkersburg.
