The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bob and Debbie Robinson of Parkersburg.
She is a 1997 graduate of Parkersburg High School, received undergraduate degrees in English and paralegal studies in 2001, and earned a juris doctorate in 2008 from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.

She is employed by the University of Toledo as a public records officer in the Office of Legal Affairs.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dale and Diane Nicholson of Williamstown, Ohio, and Mike and Mary Jane Brown of Aurora, Ill. He is a 1997 graduate of Arlington High School, received a degree in mechanical engineering technology in 2003, and is working on a business administration degree at Heidleberg University. He is employed as a product specialist for Marathon Special Products in Toledo.
They reside in Waterville, Ohio.
A wedding is planned for June 2, 2012, in Grand Rapids, Ohio, in the outdoor grotto of Nazareth Hall with a reception to follow in the Cadet West Ballroom.
