Together with their parents, Kayleigh Marie Dye and Jeremy Dale Ticknor announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dwight and Joani Brohard of Mineral Wells and Bruce and Debbie Dye of Spencer. She is the granddaughter of Marie Smith of Melbourne Beach, Fla., the late Dwight Smith of Parkersburg, the late Joe and Jewel Dye of Louisville, Ky., the late Argil and Elva Brohard of Brohard, and Joe and Barbara Starcher of Spencer. She is a 2003 graduate of Parkersburg South High School, a 2007 graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in dietetics and a 2008 graduate of Marshall University with a master's degree in dietetics. She is a registered dietitian.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Roger and Beth Ticknor of Chesapeake, Ohio. He is the grandson of Robert and Joann Kratzenberg of South Point, Ohio, and the late Dean and Faye Ticknor of Des Moines, Iowa. He is a 2001 graduate of South Point High School and attended Ohio University, majoring in accounting. He is employed at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Buffalo.
