Paul E. and Judy Foutty Hogsett will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a trip to Branson, Mo.
They were married Nov. 21, 1961, in Sparta, N.C.
He is the son of the late Paul F. Hogsett and the late Helen Dye Rutherford.

He spent four years in the Marine Corps, two of those in Puerto Rico. He retired from Corning Glass with 35 years of service and Schott Glass with three years.
She is the daughter of Garnette Calhoun Foutty and the late Harley Foutty of Belpre.
She was a stay-at-home mom until their children were older, and then worked for So-Fro Fabrics, Wal-Mart and JoAnn Fabrics before retiring.
They are the parents of two sons, Christopher of Davisville and James of Columbus, and two twin daughters, Jill (Charlie) Broadwater of Fairmont and Noel (Craig) Clinton of Vienna.
They have three grandsons, David Hogsett and Aaron and Thomas Broadwater.
