"Bill" Carroll and Annie Bennett of Ravenswood celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner given by their children at their home.
They were married on Sept. 15, 1961, at the Silverton EUB Church by the late Rev. David L. Sayre.
He is the son of the late Harvey and Edith Bennett. He is retired from GE Plastics in Washington, W.Va.
She is the daughter of the late Dwight and Hazel Bowers.
The couple have three children, Sheila (Bryan) Canterbury of Ravenswood, Bill (Rhonda) Bennett of Buckhannon, and Aaron (Melissa) Bennett of Ravenswood.
They have three granddaughters, Christina, Lauren and Leigh Ann Bennett of Buckhannon, and three grandsons, Blake, Beau and Cass (due in October) Bennett of Ravenswood.
