David and Ilene Burke of Rockport celebrated their 50th anniversary with family on Sept. 23.
They were married Sept. 23, 1961, at the Limestone United Church by Rev. Everrett Snyder.
He is the son of the late Ruth and Clifford Burke and is a retiree of DuPont with 36 years.

Both are employees of Wood County Schools.
She is the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lessie Bonnett of Rockport and is a retiree of Wood County Board of Education transportation department with 27 years.
The couple have four children, Cheryl, Lucinda, Daniel and David Jr., 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, McKensie Fouse.
