Cristopher and Beth Criss of Parkersburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Corey Elizabeth, to Jeffrey Ryan Jubach of Pittsburgh, son of Thomas and Janice Jubach of New Wilmington, Penn.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Sally Gainer of Parkersburg and the late Glen B. Gainer Jr. and the late A.V. Criss Jr. and the late L. Gay Criss of Vienna. She is a 2002 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic High School and a 2006 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor's degree in English. She is a 2008 graduate of Chatham University with a master's degree in creative writing. She is a professor of English at Wheeling Jesuit University and Allegheny County Coummunity College.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Marianne Jubach of Elwood City, Penn. and the late Robert Jubach and Elaine Yarzebinski of Elwood City and the late Joseph Yarzebinski. He is a 2001 graduate of Wilmington Area High School, a 2005 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a bachelor's degree in biology and a 2008 graduate of UPMC School of Medical Imaging. He is employed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
