James and Rosalind Allman of Mineral Wells celebrated their 50th anniversary Sept. 2.
They were married in 1961 at St. Johns Methodist Church in Spencer by the Rev. William Wise.
She is the daughter of the late Gale Wagner and Christinnia Wagner Barnes of St. Marys. She is a retired registered nurse from Eramet Marietta.

He is the son of the late Hubert and Garnet Hite Allman of Parkersburg. He retired after 41 years as a paver operator for West Virginia Paving.
The couple has a son, Robert Allman of Parkersburg and a daughter, Beth (Gary) Edwards of Elizabeth. They are the grandparents of Aaron Edwards of Georgia and Adrian and Jamie Edwards of Elizabeth.
They celebrated on Sept. 3 with a cookout with family and friends and a renewal of their wedding vows.
