Together with their parents, Shannon Marie Wright and Brandon Wayne Blough announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kevin and Michele Wright of Williamstown. She is the granddaughter of June Wright and the late Ernest Wright of Williamstown and the late Bob and Sarah Shook. She is a 2002 graduate of Williamstown High School and a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with an associate's degreee in early childhood development. She is employed by Sam's Club and The Children's Home Society of West Virginia Gustke Shelter.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Pamela Bish of Kittanning, Pa. and Micky Blough of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of the last Wayne Blough and Eileen Chapman and the late Edith Delelio.
He is a 2004 graduate from Parkersburg High School and is employed by Sam's Club.
An Oct. 8 wedding is planned. The couple will reside in Parkersburg.
