Kimberly Rodgers and Christopher Flesher were united in marriage on April 16 at First Lutheran Church in Parkersburg. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Ian Reid.
The bride is the daughter of Chip and Barb Rodgers of Washington. She is the granddaughter of Carl and the late Francis Dreisbach of Harrisburg, Pa., and Shirley and the late Charles Rodgers Sr. of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She is a 2005 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a 2010 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. She is employed by the Florence Dental Group.
The groom is the son of Joe and Sue Flesher of Paden City. He is the grandson of Pauline and the late Joe Flesher Sr. of Friendly and the late Cliff and Joan McWilliams of Wheeling. He is a 2002 graduate of Paden City High School. After high school he served four years as a naval air crewman. He is employed by UPS in Parkersburg.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white formal strapless gown of luxe taffeta with a pleated drop waist and hand-embroidered detail that flowed into a chapel train. The bride's wedding look was completed with a fingertip veil of white illusion tulle with crystal and rhinestone scattered throughout. She carried a bouquet of white gerber daisies, white alstroemeria lilies and orange day lilies.
Sister of the bride, Amy Rodgers Smith, served as matron of honor. Maid of honor was Ashley Gibbs. Bridesmaids were Sarah Smith and Amanda Flesher. The girls all wore a different style of strapless, tea-length dress of tangerine color. They carried bouquets of mini orange and white gerber daisies and yellow alstroemeria lilies. Aunt of the bride, Glinda Dreisbach, greeted the guests as they arrived.
The groom's best men were Joe Flesher and Matt Dobbins. The groomsmen were Tony Cline and Erik Smith. The groomsmen were khaki tuxedos with white shirts and orange ties. The boutonnieres were made of orange mini gerber daisies. Ushers were Justin Smith and Jeffery Sprouse.
After exchanging vows, the bride and groom preformed a sand ceremony. A reception with music and a sit-down dinner was held at the DuPont Employee Recreational Club in Washington.
The bride's sister made the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with white buttercream icing, and a pressed "F" on an orange fondant circle topped each cupcake. Atop the cupcake tiers was big cupcake of funfetti cake with funfetti icing for the bride and groom. In lieu of favors, the couple donated to A Smile for a Lifetime Foundation and the American Lung Cancer Association in honor of the late Glinda Dreisbach.
The couple took a short trip to Amish country and will honeymoon in Jamaica next June.
They reside in Parkersburg.
