Mr. and Mrs. Locke of Georgetown, Texas celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by hosting a dinner in Sun City for family and friends.
The Lockes were married Aug. 12, 1961 in Beckley, W.Va.
They have two sons, Jeffrey (Megan) of Pointe Verde Beach, Fla. and Andy (Carrie) of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Hallie and Aiden Locke, Austin.

Mike and Susie Locke
Both Mike and Susie are graduates of WVU. Susie graduated in 1961 with a degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy, Mike graduated with a petroleum engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1962. Before beginning a long engineering career, Mike served in the U.S. Army Artillery at Ft. Bliss as a Lieutenant. A highlight of the Lockes' married life was five wonderful years traveling the USA and Canada in their motorhome. They are looking foward to a Caribbean cruise in 2012.
