Eugene and Linda Hudson of Friendswood, Texas, celebrated their 50th anniversary on July 21.
They were married at Groves First Baptist Church in Groves, Texas, with Rev. Frank L. Gayer officiating.
He is the son of the late Jesse Hudson of Pensacola, Fla., and the late Helen Childers of Crosby, Texas. He served in the Air Force, including a tour in Holland. He worked for E.I. DuPont in Victoria, Texas, Washington W.Va., and LaPort, Texas, retiring in 2001 after 28 years of service.

She is the daughter of the late George and Ethel Hardin of Groves. She is a homemaker. She is active in her church and Christian Woman's Club.
They are the parents of three children, Lt. Commander (Ret) Brian (Stephanie) of Destin, Fla., Kevin (Tina) of Parkersburg, and Sheila (Ray) Benson of Stow, Ohio.
They have eight grandchildren, BM3 Tyler (Megan) Hudson stationed at Coast Guard Station Grand Isle, La., Sgt. Zackery (Caitlyn) Hudson, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, Jakob Hudson of Mobile, Ala., Petty Officer 2nd Class Alex (Allison) Hudson stationed at Naval Weapons Station Charleston, S.C., Andrew Hudson of Parkersburg, and Kayleigh, Annalisa and Ray Benson of Stow, Ohio. They have four great-grandchildren, Nathan and Carson Hudson of Grand Isle, and Lathan and Madlyn Hudson of Mobile.
They are also the step-grand and great-grandparents to Daniel (Lacy), Aiden and Chanler Price of Holt, Fla., and Nicholas (Alex) and Keegan Price also of Holt.
