Vincent Edward Gue, 45, of Edgewater, Fla., formerly of Marietta, Ohio, passed from this life into the peace he so desired on July 12, 2011.
He was born April 9, 1966 in Huntington, W.Va., the son of Nina Gue Sisk.
Vince graduated from Connecticut Community College with a degree in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts. He also served in the U.S. Army and was a Christian by faith. Until relocating to Florida, he was a successful business owner in Parkersburg. He was an accomplished musician and enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family and friends. His wonderful qualities and gifts are too numerous to mention.
Vince will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. People were drawn to his heart of gold, generosity and playful sense of humor.
He is survived by his mother, Nina Sisk; step-father, Larry Sisk; and brother, Troy Ross, all of Edgewater. Additional survivors include his sister, Jessica Ross Read (Matthew); brother, Ben Ross (Ashley); nieces, Mariah and Melody Read; and nephew, Mason Ross, all of Parkersburg. Vince is also survived by long-time friend, Jerry Bartram of Edgewater.
Vince is now reunited with his adoptive father, SFC, Harvey D. Ross, who passed in 2004.
In accordance with Vince's wishes, his body will be cremated and his ashes scattered at sea, surrounded by family to honor his memory.
