Together with their families, Kevin David Marra and Kari Ann Barber, both of Parkersburg, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carla Cunningham of Parkersburg and Charles Barber of Vienna. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Norma Cunningham of Vienna and the late Mamie Bateman of Parkersburg. She is a 2003 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2008 graduate of Fairmont State University. She is employed with United Brokerage Services Inc. in Parkersburg.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of the late Debbie Scheuvront of Bridgeport. He is the grandson of Sammie Marra and the late Corrine Marra of Bridgeport. He is a 1994 graduate of Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Va., and a 2009 graduate of Fairmont State University. He is employed with the state Department of Health and Human Resources in Parkersburg.
