Steve and Connie Cale of Parkersburg will celebrate their 40th anniversary on July 16.
They were united in marriage in 1971.
She is the daughter of the late Harold and Maxine Bauman.

They are the parents of three children, Janice (Adam) Small of Washington, Greg (Julie) Cale of Washington and Paul (Laurene) Cale of Parkersburg. They have seven grandchildren, Tilishia (Tim) Anderson, Cody Batten, Levi Batten, Darrion Cale, Markeylia Cale, Dakota Cale and Adrenna Cale. They also have three step-grandchildren, Tim, Derek and Clarissa. They have one great-grandson, Dalton Anderson.
