Together with their parents, Haleigh Danielle James and Tyler West Murray announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff James of Bridgeport and Cindy James of Bridgeport. She is the granddaughter of Enid James and the late Vernon James of Parkersburg and Dorothy Haught and the late Delmar Haught of Parkersburg. She is a 2007 graduate of Bridgeport High School. She is a student in the occupational therapy master's program at West Virginia University and is set to graduate in May 2013.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Francine Murray of Parkersburg and Garry and Sandy Murray of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of the late Crystal and Leslie Perceval of Parkersburg and Ruth Sams of St. Marys and the late John Murray of Parkersburg. He is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg South High School.

He is a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies and minors in sociology, English and theater. He is employed by Pressley Ridge in Morgantown.
An open-church ceremony and reception are planned for July 23 at North Parkersburg Baptist Church.
