Brooke Annette Schweitzer and James Darrel Galloway announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kevin and Luann Schweitzer of Augusta, Ky. She is a 2004 graduate of Augusta Independent and graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in creative writing.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Charlotte and James F. Galloway of Mineral Wells. He is a 2005 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a master's degree in education. He is also a graduate of Glenville State College and Parkersburg South High School. He is employed by Wirt County Board of Education.
