Don and Pauline McVey will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 17. They were united in marriage in 1961 by the Rev. Harry Foley at the Elizabeth United Methodist Church.
He is the son of the late Roy and Edna McVey of Leroy.
She is the daughter of the late Harris and Laura Giffen of Elizabeth.

The couple have five children, Gary (Eydie) McVey, Duane (Louann) McVey, Dean (Mandy) McVey of Palestine, Roger McVey and Janet (Darrel) Frazier of Elizabeth.
They have nine grandchildren, Joe, Steve, Amber, Krystal, Amanda, Jordan, Dylan, Levi, and Katie; and six great- grandchildren, Gavin, Riley, Payton, Levy, Lincoln and Trenton.
