Kenneth and Patricia Speidel of Wigner Avenue, Harrisville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10 with their children and grandchildren.
The couple was united in marriage June 10, 1961, at First Baptist Church of Martins Ferry, Ohio, by the Rev. McCullough.
Mrs. Speidel is the daughter of the late Clarence and Alberta Runnion of Martins Ferry. She is a retired registered nurse. She graduated from Martins Ferry High School and West Virginia University of Parkersburg School of Nursing. She worked at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.

Mr. Speidel is the son of the late James and Wilma Speidel of Bridgeport, Ohio. He is a retired paymaster for United Engineers and Constructors of Philadelphia, Pa., and American Producers in Marietta, Ohio. He is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
The couple are the parents of one daughter, Jodie Scadden of St. Marys and three sons, Bruce Speidel of Sykesville, Md., Brian Speidel of Logan, Ohio, and Scott Speidel of Hagerstown Md.
They have seven grandchildren, Kristia and Mitchel Speidel of Sykesville, Kyle, Brannon and Ethan Speidel of Logan and Chase and Kendra Scadden of St. Marys.
