William C. "Bill" and Evelyn Brake Mullins will observe their 60th anniversary on June 4 with a celebration hosted by their children from 2-4 p.m. at the Marietta Township Park (old Reno school) located on Sandhill Road in Reno, Ohio.
They were married June 9, 1951, by the bride's late uncle, Rev. Josephus VanSickle, at the Washington Methodist Church of Washington, W.Va.
She is the daughter of the late Merle G. and Edna Byrdie Harold Brake of Washington. She retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He is the son of the late Carl E. and Edna Shawver Mullins of Parkersburg. He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 21 years. He is also retired from the Crescent Supply Company of Marietta.
They have five children, William C. (Karen) Mullins Jr., Teresa Mullins and Sharon (Richard) Waters, all of Marietta, Suzanne (Robert) DeLapp of Lexington N.C. and the late Gerald W. Mullins.
They have four grandchildren, David Mullins, Christopher (fiancee Kelly) Mullins and Daniel Hart of Marietta and Sarah Mullins of Niceville, Fla.
