Ayersman
Donald and Cornelia Ayersman will celebrate thier 50th wedding anniversary on May 6.
They were united in marriage by the Rev. Robert Park at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Parkersburg.

He is the son of the late James Russel Ayersman and Thelma Ayersman of Parkersburg. He retired from Wood County Schools where he taught for many years.
She is the daughter of the late George and Ellen Bird, also of Parkersburg. She is a registered nurse and worked for Parkersburg Cardiology Associates for many years.
They are the parents of eight children and have eight grandchildren. They are active members of St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church.
A private celebration for family and friends will be held on May 7.
