Albert and Shelia Young will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 11.
He is the son of the late Theodore and Velma (Taylor) Young of Clay County. He retired from DuPont.
She is the daughter of the late Chancy "Cecil" and Geraldine "Jean" (Townsend) Eaton of Belleville. She retired from First Federal Savings & Loan.

The couple has three sons, Greg and Debbie of Belleville, Tim and Alfredia of Salem, Ohio, and Eric and Amy of Belleville. The have eight grandchildren, Noelle Young Long and husband, Ralph; Mychal Seth Sabatino; Brie-Ann Young; Shane Young; Chance Young; Dalton Young; Cody Young and Rochel Young.
They are active members of Fairview 4-H Club, Hopewell Church of Christ and many other civic organizations.
A reception will be held for the couple from 2-4 p.m. today at the Lubeck Civic Center.
No presents, but cards are appreciated.
