Mary Beth Taylor and Brandon Mattes of Cincinnati were joined in marriage at Nags Head Beach, N.C.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Dee Taylor of Belmont, W.Va., and the granddaughter of the late Robert and Julia Hartleben of Waverly and the late Busey and Jeanette Taylor of St. Marys.
She is a 2000 graduate of St. Marys High School and a 2004 graduate of Washington State Community College with a degree in nursing.
She is employed as a registered nurse with the Mercy Hospital System of Cincinnati.
The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Cheryl Mattes of Clinton, Mo. and the grandson of the late Don and Mary Struening of Lincoln, Ill., and Harold and Pay Mattes of Mattoon, Ill.
He is a 2001 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2007 graduate of the Art Institute of Cincinnati with a degree in graphic art.
He is in the management trainee program with the Fridays Corp. in Cincinnati.
The couple resides in Cincinnati.
