Mckinsey Lee Murphy and Corby Allen Anderson were united in marriage on Oct. 16, 2010. The double-ring ceremony was held at the First United Methodist Church of Williamstown with Pastor Steve Gedon officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Deb Murphy of Lubeck. She is the granddaughter of Shelia Johnson and the late Tommy Murphy of Vienna, and the late Mary and Clarence Murphy of Lubeck. She is a 2004 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a 2008 graduate of Marietta College with a degree in human resource management and a minor in finance.
She is a PLAN administrator for TLM Land Co. representing RedSky Land LLC.

The groom is the son of Ron and Kianna Anderson of Williamstown and the grandson of Don and Rita Melton, Janet Melton and David and Betty Anderson, all of Oklahoma . He is a 2005 graduate of Williamstown High School and attended Marshall University and West Virginia University at Parkersburg where he earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 in network engineering.
He is employed at Lowe's Home Improvement of Marietta as an installed sales coordinator.
Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless candlelight satin, ribbon gown with a chapel train and adorned by a crystal broche.
To compliment her gown, she wore a crystal headpiece and veil embellished with hand-sewn crystals, and chandelier earrings. She carried a bouquet of cream calla lilies with crystal adornments, hand tied with satin ribbon.
The bride's sister, Abigail Ruble, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Gurtis, longtime friend of the bride, and Kalie Anderson, sister of the groom. Megan Murphy, cousin of the bride, served as a junior bridesmaid.
The attendants wore charmeuse, paprika-colored floor length strapless gowns, and two-toned paprika and brown charmeuse wraps. Megan and Monica Thomas and Lauren Blair, lifelong friends of the bride, served as hostesses at the ceremony.
Wes Merrifield of Williamstown, friend of the groom, served as best man. Andrew White, friend of the groom, and Christopher Anderson, cousin of the groom, served as groomsman. Brody Anderson, cousin of the groom, served as an usher. Caddence and Christian McCammack, the groom's cousins of Oklahoma, were the ring bearer and flower girl.
A piano and violin duo of Karen Young and Ashley Clark provided musical accompaniment for the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the great room of Andrew's Hall at Marietta College. A stacked three-layer fall-themed cake was accompanied by centerpiece cakes at each guest table that sat atop a lighted water arrangement of orange calla lilies.
The couple resides in Parkersburg.
