Tabitha Renay VanDyke and Wesley Douglas Thomas were united in marriage on April 17, 2010, in an outdoor ceremony at the gazebo at the Comfort Inn in Marietta. Pastor Wendy Erb officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Matthew and Renna Rankin of Belpre. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Kathie Suck of Parkersburg, Donna McDougle of Waterford and the late Owen McDougle, and the late Robert Rankin. She is the great-granddaughter of Katherine Suck of Mineral Wells.
The bridegroom is the son of Henry and Diane Sullivan, and Doug and Myla Thomas, all of Marietta. He is the grandson of Charles and Joyce Jones, Robert and Carol Thomas and Robert and Susan Almond, all of Marietta; and Wayne and Carolyn Thomas of Gettysburg, Pa.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart bodice and a pickup style skirt adorned with embroidery and pearls.
The bride's look was completed with a tiara, strand of pearls, and a fingertip length veil. She carried a bouquet of ivory, pink and burgundy roses and pink lilies.
The maid of honor was Tiffini VanDyke of Belpre, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Caitlin Browdie of Cleveland, friend of the bride; Melissa Schulte of Tucson, Ariz., friend of the bride; Angela Gindlesberger of Cleveland, friend of the bride; Brittany Zaleski of Alliance, Ohio, friend of the bride; and Miranda Lee of Marietta, sister of the groom.
The bridesmaids wore a strapless ball gown of sangria satin with side drape and crystal accent broach.
The best man was Brandon Thomas of Marietta, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Glen McClelland of Marietta, friend of the groom; Chad Ball of Devola, friend of the groom; David Roberts of Marietta, friend of the groom; Jeremy Harris of Williamstown, friend of the groom; and Brandan Wheeler of Marietta, friend of the groom.
The ring bearers were Caden McDougle, cousin of the bride, and Diego, friend of the groom.
Guests were greeted by Katherine Kimble, friend of the bride, Sarah and Laura Hill, cousins of the groom, and Dayna McDougle, cousin of the bride.
A buffet reception was held immediately following in the Marie Antoinette Ballroom of the Comfort Inn in Marietta. A four-tiered cake surrounded by six satellite cakes adorned with crystals, edible pearls,and cornelli lace was served.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Belpre High School and a 2009 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor's degree in athletic training with minors in biology and Spanish. She is attending Marietta College to obtain a master's degree in physician assistant studies.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2005 graduate of Washington State Community College. He is employed by the city of Marietta.
After a honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean, the couple reside in Marietta.
