Faith P. Anderson

Faith Pauline (Staats) Anderson of Ripley, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Jan. 22, 2010.

She was born Aug. 7, 1915, living all her life in Jackson County. She was the first child of Clare and Plusha (Crane) Staats.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Omer "Spud" Anderson; her only brother, Hope Staats; one sister, Charity Baltic, her infant son, Carroll; her son, Donald "Mutt" Anderson; and two sons-in-law, Robert "Bob" Hutton and Michael F. Hall.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by one sister, Faye Kuhn of Milton; her children, Bob and Patsy Anderson of Ripley, Betty Hutton of Murraysville, Janice and Pete Petersen of Fairplain, Helen "Cookie" Hall of Ripley, Rudy and Marcia Anderson of Princeton, Sandra Lee Reed of Fairplain, and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Anderson of Ripley; her grandchildren, Marci and Tom Weyer, Jenni and Tim Hayhurst, Donny and Cindy Anderson, Juli and Greg Wamsley, Rick and Tara Anderson, Randy and Jackie Anderson, Jill and Virgil Leggett, Eric and Bonnie Hutton, Paula and Greg Koontz, Sam and Kim Petersen, Matt and Tiffany Petersen, Charlie and Tarah Petersen, Lucinda and Jim Oiler, Fred and Barbara Hall, Vaughn and Tonya Anderson, Jason and Alisha Anderson, Jody and Mark Wigglesworth, Jan and Sean Garrett, Rocky and Apple Hartley, Stephen and Lori Hartley and Nikki Reed; great-grandchildren, Ian Henry, Jonathan Henry, Codi and Trae Gandee, Cassie and Jeff McCoy, Tim "Hacksaw" Hayhurst, Courtney and Rondus Casto, Ciara Anderson, Logan and Nick Howery, Montana Wamsley, Wyatt Wamsley, Shiloh Wamsley, Brandi and Todd Thompson, Amanda and Luke Salmons, Lori Anderson, Bobby Anderson, Amber McIntyre, Josiah Leggett, Erica Hutton, Levi and Meghan Koontz, Luke Koontz, Evan Koontz, Joshua and Danielle Petersen, Samantha Petersen, Darby Petersen, Dane Petersen, Alex Petersen, Molli and Tyler Markham, Morgan Oiler, Maci Oiler, Richie and Carlene Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Abigail Anderson, Caleb Shamblin, Sarah Shamblin, Katy Wigglesworth, Emily Wigglesworth, Chad Garrett, Ryan Garrett, Reagan Garrett, Joshua Hartley, Jolie Hartley and Charlotte Hartley; step great-grandchildren, Mike and Cristina Weyer, Amy and Shannon Sawin, Christina and Jamie Bostic and Alicia and Marc Wallen; great-great-grandchildren, Sadi Gandee, Cade McCoy, Isaiah Casto, Carson Thompson, Faith Thompson, Mason Salmons, Kylie McIntyre, Luke McIntyre, Natalie McIntyre and T.L. Koontz; step great-great-grandchildren, Carson Weyer, Grant Weyer, Natalie Sawin, Karley Sawin, Matthew Bostic and Luke Bostic; and her good friend, Ruby Frame.

She was a dedicated Christian having taught Sunday School for many years at the Fairplain Union Church and very devoted to her family.

Her family wishes to extend their heartfelt and sincere appreciation to the staff at Eldercare in Ripley.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Todd King officiating. Burial will be in the Casto Cemetery, Fairplain. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
