Parkersburg Utility Board discusses projects
Jeffrey SaultonPARKERSBURG - Possible future projects for the Parkersburg Utility Board were discussed in the board's Wednesday meeting.
Eric Bennett, manager, said the discussion was on Administrative Order No. 4566.
Bennett said the order is a document that is revised periodically as projects, large and small, are completed within the department.
"This has been in effect since 2002," he said. "It is a living document that changes and sets the goals for work in the system and a time table for those goals."
Bennett said as projects are completed, more are considered. He said the next project will most likely be setting pipes within pipes to cut down on water leaking into the waste water treatment system and to keep water from flowing out of the system.
The next meeting of the board will be 9 a.m. Dec. 9 at the administration building at 125 19th St.
