PARKERSBURG - The Parkersburg Police Department is seeking information on a suspect who robbed the Bob Evans Restaurant in the Park Shopping Center Friday evening.

Sgt. Jason Barton said an unknown black male enter the restaurant about 8:30 p.m. Friday, brandished a knife and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money and was last seen fleeing through the parking lot to the rear of Crafts 2000 at the shopping center, Barton said.

The suspect is described as a black male standing 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 200 to 220 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black Pittsburgh Steelers baseball cap, a black sweatshirt, jeans and a white bandanna across his face, Barton said.
