POSTED: November 22, 2009

Bella Andre returns with another blend of firefighter romance and mystery in "Hot as Sin."

Dianna Kelley has been trying to reconnect with her estranged sister.

After finding her again and then losing her, Dianna is in a horrible car accident. She is injured and the driver of the other car dies. Little does she know, she just made a terrible enemy...

But her accident, reminiscent of one she had 10 years earlier, also reconnects her with her ex-fiancee, Sam MacKenzie. Still reeling from the wounds that damaged their relationship years ago, Sam and Dianna have trouble being around each other. But when Dianna's sister goes missing and appears to have been kidnapped, Sam comes in to help Dianna survive the Rockies' wilderness and try to find her.

The investigation brings them closer again, and time may have helped heal their past so they can move on to a new future together.

Andre is good at writing likable characters and blending steamy romance with thrilling danger. Her look into the lives and loves of firefighters is an enjoyable one.

"Hot as Sin" is published by Bantam Dell. It is $7.99 and 335 pages long.

New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts brings a tale of weddings and romance in "Bed of Roses."

Emma Grant works with her three best friends runninga wedding planning company at a lavish house. Emma, a hopeless romantic, takes care of the flowers and arranges beautiful bouquets perfect for every bride's big day. Emma's just not heading toward her own at the moment - the guy she was dating she had no spark with.

Enter Jack Cooke, a longtime friend. While the two have known each other for a while, they've never dated, but they're starting to realize they may have feelings for each other. And while the sparks start flying and things start heating up, Emma's still not too sure where this new relationship is going.

Jack has never been one for long-term relationships, and while they are getting physically closer, there's still a wall up between the two of them. Is their relationship heading down the aisle or burning out?

Roberts writes wonderfully fun characters who you can't help but hope get to their happily ever after in the end.
