By Amy Mendenhall, amendenhall@newsansentinel.comBella Andre returns with another blend of firefighter romance and mystery in "Hot as Sin."
Dianna Kelley has been trying to reconnect with her estranged sister.
After finding her again and then losing her, Dianna is in a horrible car accident. She is injured and the driver of the other car dies. Little does she know, she just made a terrible enemy...
But her accident, reminiscent of one she had 10 years earlier, also reconnects her with her ex-fiancee, Sam MacKenzie. Still reeling from the wounds that damaged their relationship years ago, Sam and Dianna have trouble being around each other. But when Dianna's sister goes missing and appears to have been kidnapped, Sam comes in to help Dianna survive the Rockies' wilderness and try to find her.
The investigation brings them closer again, and time may have helped heal their past so they can move on to a new future together.
Andre is good at writing likable characters and blending steamy romance with thrilling danger. Her look into the lives and loves of firefighters is an enjoyable one.
"Hot as Sin" is published by Bantam Dell. It is $7.99 and 335 pages long.
