Nicholas Harrison Leach

Nicholas (Nick) Leach, 28, of Morgantown, W.Va., departed this life on Nov. 14, 2009.

Nick was born July 9, 1981, in Parkersburg. He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1999 and was a student of the WVU College of Mechanical Engineering. He was an Army veteran, having served in Iraq with the 150th Armored Division of the West Virginia Army National Guard.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Leach of Vienna; grandmother, Stella Leach of Mineral Wells; uncles, Jim Leach (Gail) of Veto, Ohio, and Robert Leach (Anita) of Parkersburg; and an aunt, Lynn Leach of Mineral Wells; and many cousins.

Especially close to Nick were his cousins, Macel Rhodes and her son, Roman Tarantini, of Morgantown, W.Va.; Allison and Logan Leach of Mineral Wells; and special friend, Loni Jo Alexander of Fairmont, W.Va.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Ray Leach.

Nick loved playing his guitar, visiting with family and friends and telling jokes. We will all remember him most for his kind and tender heart.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg. Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
