Linda Lou Reed, 59, of Belpre, departed this world Monday, Nov. 9, 2009.
She was born Sept. 16, 1950, in Parkersburg, to Edwin and Helen Yoho Dennis. She was a 1968 graduate of Warren High School. Linda loved taking long walks and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart and generous spirit.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Michael W. Reed; two daughters, Jodie L. Brandt (Chad) of Marietta and Jennifer Hunter of Milton, W.Va.; a son, Jamie R. Hunter (Becky) of Newark; stepdaughter, Jessica Reed of Austin, Texas; three grandsons, Jude Brandt and Austin and Brayden Hunter; a granddaughter, Helaina Brandt; her father of Vincent; three sisters, Sharon Kimball of Northport, Fla., Ann Eddy (Kenny) of Cutler and Pam Berringer (Donnie) of Portland, Ohio; and a brother, Jack Dennis (Kay) of Vincent.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Dennis; and a brother, Kenneth Dennis.
Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Pastor Dave Ellenwood officiating. Burial will be at Reed-Fairview Memory Gardens, Belpre. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
