Moore indicted on 30 counts of child porn possession
By JEFFREY SAULTONPARKERSBURG - A former Wood County Schools computer technician was among 60 people indicted by the Wood County January grand jury, said Prosecutor Jason Wharton.
Lonnie Moore, 45, 517 Olive St., Parkersburg, was indicted on 30 counts of possessing material depicting a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct and one count each of incest, third-degree sexual assault and sexual abuse by a custodian from September 2008.
According to police reports, police were contacted by a family member after finding images depicting children in sexual acts on computers borrowed from Moore. Investigators seized computers from Moore's home and found alleged child pornography, police said.
Moore was employed by Wood County Schools as a computer technician and police said it is possible some of the computers containing the images were school property.
