Charles J. Postlewait Jr.

Charles Joseph Postlewait Jr., 60, of Lawton Road, Marietta, went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 3, 2008.

He was born on April 10, 1948, in Pomeroy, Ohio, a son of Charles Postlewait and Helen Adams Postlewait of Vienna. He retired from Eramet and was an active member of Evergreen Bible Church.

On Nov. 6, 1976, Chuck married Ginger Nichols who survives with three sons and two daughters, Joshua and wife, Ja Yung Postlewait, of Columbus and grandchildren Caleb and Emilie Postlewait; Tony and wife, Rebekah Postlewait, of Parkersburg; Daniel Nichols of Cedarville University; Renee and husband, Andrew Newland, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and grandchildren Ashton, Caedmon and Jace Newland; and Lisa Nichols of Northland Baptist Bible College, Dunbar, Wis.; brothers, Paul Postlewait of Texas, Vernon Postlewait of Texas and Danny Postlewait of Parkersburg; and sisters, Sandra Parr of Vienna, Karon Righter of Parkersburg, Debbie Postlewait of Vienna and Vicki Fannin of Florida.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Robinson.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Bible Church with Dr. Steve Thibault officiating. Burial will be in Putnam Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Marietta.
