Ruth M. Bungard

Ruth M. Bungard, 50, of Vienna, passed away July 12, 2008, after a long brave fight with breast cancer.

She was born in Parkersburg, the daughter of Lawrence E. Twyman of Vienna and the late Edna M. Kinney Twyman. She had been employed by the Advantage Bank in Belpre, where she worked as a loan processor. During her illness she never complained and was an inspiration to all those around her.

She is survived by her father, Lawrence E. Twyman and his wife, Carolyn, of Vienna; her husband of 27 years, Kenneth R. Bungard Jr. of Vienna; her children, Ryan Edwin Bungard and Ariel Noelle Bungard both of Vienna; one brother, Gary Lee Twyman of Parkersburg; five nephews; one niece; and her beloved miniature pinscher, Bolton.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with the Rev. Dan Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
