Larry and Tricky Arnold have returned from vacationing in Florida. On June 15 Larry preached for the Main Gate Church of Christ in Kissimmee and they took a cruise to the Bahamas.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Clark celebrated their golden anniversary on June 28. Weekend visitors were their son, Jeff from Suffolk, Va. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. David Cary (Eleanor) from Columbus, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Irwin (Ruth) from Mansfield, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Butch (Patty) Bowan of Erie, Pa.
On Sunday Leo and Dorothy Clark and son, Jeff, were dinner guests of Mrs. Betty Ray and families where they celebrated Mrs. Ray's birthday.
James Sealock visited on Thursday morning with his father Doyle Sealock at Genesis Health and Rehab.
A cookout and swimming party was held on Saturday evening at Fred and Karen Blind's. Those attending were Evelyn Mitchel, Phil and Doris Blind, Tom and Britany Blind, and Lori Shuster, John, Mary and Pam Blind, Austin, Coner and Demi Blind and Zack Blackburn, Jan and Larry Allman, Gary, Lisa and Zack Love. It was a very enjoyable evening.
Kinley Nicole Skinner, 81/2-months-old, daughter of Donnie and Sarah Skinner Jr. and granddaughter of Donnie and Sharon (Mayfield) Skiner former residents of this area, recently had major surgery at Riley's Children Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind., to repair two large holes and patch one valve. She is out of ICU and has been put on the cardiac floor. She will be in the hospital another week to 10 days. She will have follow-up visits for 4-6 months. Please continue to pray for Kinley.
