PARKERSBURG —Three cases were heard in Wood County Circuit Court Monday.
Krista Bailey, 33, 1016 20th St., Parkersburg, was sentenced after she pleaded guilty to obtaining money, property or services by false pretenses on March 18.
Two counts of fraudulent use of an access device from an indictment were dismissed as part of the agreement.
Bailey was sentenced by Judge Robert Waters to one year in North Central Regional Jail suspended for two years probation. If her probation officer deems it necessary, she may serve up to 30 days in the regional jail.
George Edward Fonner, 39, 3916 10th Ave., Parkersburg, was denied a motion to dismiss a petition to revoke home confinement.
According to the petition to revoke, Fonner was seen driving after his license was revoked for driving on a suspended or revoked license for driving under the influence.
He had pleaded guilty to the charge on June 28, 2007. A capias was issued for failure to appear in May 2007.
Robert Allen Christiansen, 58, in custody at North Central Regional Jail, entered a plea agreement with the state to plead guilty to failure to register as a sex offender. Christiansen is to serve his sentence on home confinement.
