Dulcie Marie Johnson, 83, of Williamstown, died March 8, 2008, at the Arbors of Marietta.
She was born in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Charles B. and Florence Harmon Wright. She had at one time worked in St. Albans, W.Va., and more recently had worked for the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and attended the Williamstown Church of God.
She is survived by her children, Juanita I. Lyons of Marietta, Delmer L. Rhodes and his wife, Linda, of Marietta and William E. Johnson of Columbus, Ohio; her sisters, Letha L. Owens of Marietta and Edith L. Rowe of Williamstown; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferral Lyons; one son, Paul E. Johnson; her brothers, Harold, Albert, James W. and Lawrence H. Wright; and her sisters, Mildred Wright, Lena V. Boyd, Gertrude J. Lott and Eva M. Lambert.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, with Pastor Ron Blevins officiating. Burial will be in the Eastlawn Cemetery in Marietta. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
