three things: 1. rapp and thornton are sure hot on cheddars? what are they getting out of the constant adoration for this business? 2. if rapp was such a hero, why did HE not get up and go remove the skunk? instead he sent some guys just sitting around also at the 12th St. loafing pen. 3. instead of a "recreational facility" or whatever; how about some type of plant that could offer family living wages instead of the minimum wages this facility will pay?

well educated; am honored that you worry about my vacation. but have just been watching. as is usual when one of the city administration/staff or its lackeys gets on here, it is always a snide remark. yet, it is odd that they can never respond to a question? oh, that's right, avoid the issues and turn on the messenger.

Why the need to go into executive session to vote on spending city money?

and educated (????), your comment on my vacation to the Philippines leaves me wondering who you think I am? was the question a racial inference on your part? this part of WV is for sure full of racists. I repeat I have NOT been in the Philippines since I moved to WV years ago. and still waiting for answers?

also read where two people were hired in the office job positions at a combined salary/ compensation of OVER a $100K year if both are married and put their families on the city dole. can they do the jobs or were they hired to provide the city insurance to one as there are comments about a sick spouse? it is always sad when one has a major illness to contend with, but is not the taxpayers responsibility to pay for a rolls Royce coverage. there is always Obama's master health care on 1 jan 2014 that could have been used. this makes for four new hires in the past 30 days. yet, still cannot get the work done. atty stated on the bldg. inspection ordnance (that no one could explain to the fire dept liaison- beebe)that if an ordnance was passed it had to be enforced. why can the mayor and staff on enforce the current ordnances that go uncorrected?

Thornton just needs a place to get hammered. But, you'll always see Mayor Rapp and his daughter at the many fine chain restaurants around Vienna, stuffing their faces.
