DC is too expensive and too efficient... anyone who wants to live and work in DC is crazy - high taxes - high crime - corrupt local government and lousy schools for children and dangerous high crime

RCB gone from Congress = Federal $ will slowly dry up for WV. Side note, I live and work in the DC/Baltimore area...downtown DC has some nice spots..the BPD though is in PG County, which is the most roughest county in MD.

Kendall78 the last round of new hires was rerouted right back to the DC area. I believe the lease is up on that fancy new building in less then 5 years. My money is on it wont get renewed. Yes I visit the DC area often and there is a lot of new office construction going on over there. Comes down to who has the most political pull and it wont be WVA!

@new-I don't believe you know what you are talking about. BPD has been here for over a half century and are brining people here...not the other way around. Have you been to DC? It's a cesspool, who would want to live and work there?

It will really hurt this area when they move BPD back to the DC area. Just a matter of time.
