If I understand the use of such a facility, this means more barge traffic on the Little Kanawha river, and increased truck traffic on Depot and East streets. Maybe there should have been ramps from Corridor D onto East St. The intersections on 5th and Division Sts. at the corridor are already at peak during much of the day. Would the 5th bridge handle all the traffic sitting on it?

Newell "talks" about moving the city forward. There no definitive date on when or if the the DOH will move. Pep talks and results are two different things.

another one of Newell's grand schemes. Just like the new hotel on 5th Street (never happened). He tells people all the things that are coming, and no one ever follows up on things when they don't come.
