Looks like Nancy Wilcox and Roger Brown are not very business friendly. In todays economy Parkersburg should be welcoming any business with open arms. I wounder what kind of business they would like to locate on that corner if any.

Why doesn't this city do something about that eyesore at the corner of 36th and Cadillac? Those old building are nothing but a hazard and are ready to fall down and there is junk everywhere! With a school so close to that area it's definitely a problem.

The article states: Division & Neale Streets and Fourth & Camden Avenues which is the block that includes where the old Exxon was located.

The block that has BV Aquarium is located directly across from the one stated in the article and includes Sixth Avenue; not Fourth Avenue.

Ok, either I didn't read this one or the other one right about Speedway. It's going to be on the same side as Rockies Towing (Where Exxon was) or across the street (The side where BV Aquarium is)?

In the April 12, 2011 council meeting Ms. Wilcox voted to abandon part of 24th Street to CVS for construction of their new store and to give away the remainder of Phillips Court Alley to WTAP for the placement of their new antenna.

Wilcox has been a "dimwit" as you put it since she voted for the User Fee.

I have to agree with Roger Brown about the issue concerning the construction of the Speedway at Division and Camden.

If any one can recall when that was an Exxon station, it certainly did make that bad intersection even worse for the reasons he cited.
