First of all, what are ***** bombs?

Secondly, while it's important to constantly remind people of the dangers of flaming fun, there will be those who, as their fireworks are flying toward the neighbor's roof, are saying, 'Oh, don't worry Bubba, I knows what Ise-a doin'! Minutes later, the sirens from the FD are in the area. Which reminds me...

Why are residents warned of the dangers of fireworks, when the city allows parking on both sides of the street in the City Park area on the 4th of July? Traffic is unbelievably congested on every street in the area, making it impossible for any emergency vehicle to get through. When I was a kid, the city put signs on telephone poles stating "No parking on this side of street".

We often find remnants of the park's fireworks in our yard, and even on our roof! Moving is not an option.

I hate the 4th of July anyway. It's noisy, people have less respect than usual for property, and some kids/animals are terrified of the racket, Co

Cont...I would think the city could find a larger area for this than the City Park.

@PNS: Your article says, in part, ...aerial bombs (skyrockets, Roman candles), ***** bombs, M-80 salutes and firecrakers.

If you can say d a y g o in your article, why can't I ask for someone to tell me what it is? Or, it is a misspelling for 'dayglo'? Spell checking software is available, as well as grammar checking software.

Okay, okay, so I'm cranky today. Sorry. I need another coffee.

Urban Dictionary - "A*****bomb is just a big firecracker that explodes in the sky. At comercial displays, this firework usually has a bright tail on its way up. It explodes with a bright white flash and a shockwave that backs up its impressive sound.*****Bombs are now illegal in most or all states without a permit. Somewhat similar (though larger) to the M-80 or Cherry Bomb.*****Bombs have an explosive power high enough to destroy or heavily damage almost anything that it is detonated near."

So they just spelled it wrong. The interwebs sez it's D-A-G-O.

Fire is hot, water is wet, you can't breathe either one and if you do you're gonna die. It's just common sense.
