The issues I have with BO has NOTHING to do with his race. This man is so drunk with power and doesnt operate within any type of boundaies whatsoever. Thats one my issues with him, not the color of his skin so that excuse needs to be dismissed.

This is like an alcoholic going through bad times thinking that one, just one little drink couldn't hurt, could it?

If you believe things couldn't possibly get worse, vote Republican, and--SURPRISE.

Bless you Suttle!!! Your correct view agrees with mine. And yes,the mindset of the less educated,Coal Company controlled serfs(our precious coal miners) dislike the very President trying to stop the evil practices created by these evil coal barons. They(coal miners) are concerned for their livelihood with little or no experience to get into another line of employment with a lucrative wage. So,the war between environmental concerns(affecting all West Virginians) and economic concerns(affecting most West Virginians) will unfortunately continue for a few generations I am afraid.

It seems to me that if any West Virginians are racist, it would be the Democrats that voted for Keith Judd, least according to many national pundits. Personally, I think they just wanted someone other than Barack Obama.

Nationally, the proven racist are the ~10% of African Americans who voted Democratic because one who looked like them was at the top of the ticket.

Suttle doesn’t know what he’s talking about and those who agree with him are just as ill-informed.

No offense to the writer here, but there is an underlining bases for West Virginia's attitude towards President Obama...it is called racism...pure and simple. President Obama has done more to try to enforce environmental laws (mountain top removal) and mining safety than any other president. If you want to see devastation just fly over southern West Virginia starting a few miles south of Charleston. Trust me, it will open your eyes. Only a coal company in St. Louis could appreciate how beautiful they are making West Virginia (like a moon Scape). These coal companies ruin and pollute our state, kill and injure our coal miners, make millions of dollars from mining coal and then, when all is said and done, these very same companies declare bankruptcy and leave the taxpayer holding the bag for unpaid benefits. Yet, West Virginians dislike the very President trying to stop this evil practice. Yep only a hillbilly could come up with this logic.
