The Republican Party is no more. It would be more honest if the GOP changed its name to the "Nut Party." When you have one of the biggest nuts in the world as a party leader what other name would better describe the GOP?

Is denver loose lipped or just lost his way on his war path. So many words...so little meaning..

We know obama won. he told us so. We know the king looks down on us conservatives. We are only to be investigated, robbed (taxed to death), threatened, and our internet and other activities spied on.

We would harm no one, but we might be falsely called home grown terrorists unless we convert to islam. Then we would be peaceful.

America is so bad. Probably no country but us, ever used force in ancient times to gain an acre of land. Or enslaved people. It would be good to have an honest history lesson.

Denver you need to go sit on king Obama's knee and get a hug. Might relieve your obsession.(make sure you sit on the left knee)

How could McConnel or any other Republucan have been considered uncooperative during Obama's first 2 years in office given the President had a veto proof Congress? Republicans weren't consulted for input on any issue. Even in committee, where there is less partisanship and more compromise, Democrats refused to listen to their Republucan counterparts.

There is no doubt that McConnell said he wanted to make Obama a one-term president. But he did not say it at the start of Obama’s term; instead, he made his comments at the midpoint, after Obama had enacted many of his preferred policies.

Perhaps, in Obama’s memory, McConnell was always uncooperative. But that does not give him and other Democrats the license to rearrange the chronology to suit the party’s talking points.(Washington Post-two Pinocchios} Hardly a right wing publication.

McConnell said:“Let’s start with the big picture. Over the past week, some have said it was indelicate of me to suggest that our top POLITICAL priority over the next two years should be to deny President Obama a second term in office. But the fact is, if our primary legislative goals are to repeal and replace the health spending bill; to end the bailouts; cut spending; and shrink the size and scope of government, the only way to do all these things it is to put someone in the White House who won’t veto any of these things. We can hope the President will start listening to the electorate after Tuesday’s election. But we can’t plan on it. And it would be foolish to expect that Republicans will be able to completely reverse the damage Democrats have done as long as a Democrat holds the veto pen.”

If nothing else, when fronted with a teleprompter, Obama can spin a yarn with the best of them. It's just too bad he has no substance to back up his speech writers words. But them that is part of his arrogance that you've failed to address Denver. Why is that?

And after pushing and pushing over these last 20 months, finally we've got that car out of the ditch. Now, the car is a little dented up. The fender is a little busted. It needs a tune-up. But it's moving. It's pointing in the right direction. We're on level ground now. We're starting to make repairs. And suddenly we get a tap on our shoulder and we look back and who is it? It's the Republicans. And they say -- what are they saying? -- they say, we want the keys back.

AUDIENCE: No!

PRESIDENT Obama: Philadelphia, they can't have the keys back. They don't know how to drive. They don't know how to drive. They can ride with us if they want, but they got to get in the back seat. (Applause.) Because we want to go forward. We don't want the special interests riding shotgun. We want working families, middle-class families, up front. They're our priority.

Got to get in the back seat. Not the back of the bus.

That's the way republicans are! Always trying to put a spin on everything. Here is what President Obama said

Many of the Republicans who are running right now, these are the exact same folks who spent the last decade driving our economy into a ditch. And once we were elected, Joe and I, we put on our boots, we went down into that ditch. It was muddy and dusty down there and it was hot. And we started pushing on that car to get it out of the ditch. And we had a whole bunch of folks like Joe Sestak helping us push that car out of the ditch.

And every once in a while, we'd look up at the Republicans. They were -- they had driven into the ditch, but they had gotten out and they were kind of taking a break, fanning themselves and sipping on a Slurpee, watching us do all the work. And every once in a while they'd say, why don't you push harder? You're not pushing the right way, Obama. But they didn't help. cont.

I'll remember that little "Little buddy!" When you and Random are lying, and since you two are conservative wingnuts, you're not really lying your summarizing. Lol. :)

I see you're mistake Denver. Random summarized Obama'!a attitude and instead of addressing the issue, Obamas arrogance, you instead chose to demand an exact quote where Obama stated what Random paraphrased. Your actions are an often used as hoc argument deployed when one stumped by the truth, Obama's arrogance in this case, and has no valid response.

Whether or not Obama stated verbatim what Random credited him, I don't know or care. I do know he referenced 3 times during the health care summit that he won the election and wasn't going to rehash the issues.

I understand though why you would want to focus on the quote instead of trying to address Obama's arrogance.

Anything else?

The ultra conservative tea party like the ultra liberal Rainbow coalition of the past is a passing fancy!!! As the democratic Party survived the Rainbow Coaltion, the Republican Party will survive the ultra conservative tea partiers.

“when did President Obama say that?”

"He specifically stated it during the health care summit in Washington on Feb 25, 2010 as anyone with a working knowledge of Google can find."

"Despite dysfunction in Washington, despite the sequester, the American economy has once again shown its core character: flexibility and resilience. Time Magazine" Exactly what we have said all along. Don't do anything and the economy improves. Spend six Trillion dollars we don't have and the extra debt drags the economy down. Just a hint of ending QE3 (85Billion a month) and the artificial markets sell like crazy. Really end it and look out for a 10-20% correction. Smell it, it smells like fear on the left.

Manufacturing in U.S. Shrinks at Fastest Pace in Four Years(Bloomberg), The index of production decreased to 48.6 from 53.5 in April. The new orders measure dropped to 48.8 from 52.3, and the gauge of export demand fell to 51 from 54 (Bloomberg). Also, according to the FBI statistics, murder and manslaughter were up 1.5 percent. Aggravated assault was up 1.7 percent. Robbery was up 0.6 percent.(FBI preliminary report) Sure is fun and easy to cherry pick data.
